This page explains the records stored in the app, iCloud sync and website visitor statistics.

The Strongary app

Strongary stores your workouts, exercises, sets, templates, schedules, supplement and vitamin intakes, profile and settings on your devices. No account is needed. The app has no ads, advertising trackers or usage analytics. Strongary does not operate a server for your records.

iCloud sync

With sync enabled, records are also saved to the private iCloud database of your Apple Account. This lets you sync them and restore them on another iPhone. Apple encrypts the record contents; Strongary’s developer cannot access them.

Sync includes workouts without Apple Health metrics, templates, schedules, intakes, custom exercises, manually entered profile data and some settings. Strongary does not send data from Health or device sensors, including heart rate and calories, to this iCloud database.

You can manage sync in Settings → Data. Without iCloud, the app continues to work with local records. Storage in iCloud is also governed by Apple’s privacy policy.

Apple Health and Apple Watch

With your permission, Strongary reads workout and profile data from Health, including heart rate, active energy, weight and height. Completed workouts and weight you enter are saved to Health. You can change permissions in the Health app.

This data is not used for advertising or sent to website analytics. Apple Health manages its own cross-device sync separately from Strongary’s iCloud sync. The Apple Watch app exchanges data with your iPhone through Apple’s system services.

Backups and deletion

You can save a backup as a separate file. If you export it to iCloud Drive or another service, that service handles its storage.

Deleting the app removes its local data, but does not itself delete records from iCloud or Apple Health. You can manage iCloud data in your Apple Account settings and Health records in the Health app. With sync enabled, record changes and deletions in Strongary are synced to iCloud and your linked devices.

Website visitor statistics

Strongary.com uses Yandex Metrica to see how many people visit the site and which pages they open. Workout and supplement records from the app are not sent to it.

The service uses cookies and processes visit information, including IP address, browser, device, pages viewed and referral source. Session Replay and click maps are disabled. You can restrict cookies in your browser settings. For details, see the Yandex privacy policy and Yandex Metrica terms.

Your chosen site theme is saved in your browser. The website is hosted on GitHub Pages; its operation is also covered by the GitHub privacy statement.

Email and feedback

The site has no email collection, voting or feedback forms. When you contact support, Strongary’s developer receives your email address, message and attachments in order to reply. Email is handled through Gmail.

The site previously had a feedback form. Responses submitted through it are not published. For questions about data or to request deletion of a past response, email strongary.app@gmail.com.

If data handling changes, this page will be updated with a new revision date.
